Trough-hole Assembly

For boards that utilize through-hole components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits, we provide manual and automated through-hole assembly. Our experienced operators manually place and solder through-hole components with exceptional precision, while our pick-and-place machines quickly and accurately populate boards with large numbers of through-hole parts.

Surface Mount Assembly

We assemble boards with surface mount technology (SMT) components, including 0201 chip resistors up to BGA packages. Our SMT capabilities include:

Reflow Soldering - We have extensive experience assembling boards using reflow ovens to solder SMT components. Our ovens are equipped with profiling capabilities to create the perfect thermal profile for your specific board design and component mix.

Wave Soldering - For boards that require a combination of through-hole and SMT components, we offer wave soldering to solder the through-hole leads followed by reflow soldering of the SMT parts.

Selective Soldering - We can selectively solder only certain SMT or through-hole joints using our selective soldering machine, allowing components to be installed on both sides of the board.

Conformal Coating - We apply liquid conformal coatings to protect your assembled boards from moisture, dust, chemicals and other environmental hazards.

Hand Soldering - Our technicians provide hand soldering services for SMT components, repairs, and rework.

Best-in-Class Pick-and-Place Machines

Our high-speed, high-precision pick-and-place machines can place over 10,000 components per hour. We stock a wide range of nozzles to place components as small as 01005 passives and QFPs up to BGA and more. Our sophisticated auto reel feeders ensure 100% accurate component feed with no mis-feeds or defects.

Quality Control Inspection

We perform comprehensive electrical and visual inspections at multiple stages during PCB assembly:

Component Verification - We verify that the correct components were picked based on your BOM before assembly.

Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) - We use AOI machines to inspect solder joints for defects like bridging, cold solder, misalignment and more.

In-Circuit Testing (ICT) - After assembly, we perform ICT to check that all electrical connections are functioning correctly.

Functional Testing - For boards with any specialized functionality, we perform the necessary tests to verify proper operation.

Final Visual Inspection - Our highly trained technicians perform a final visual inspection of 100% of produced PCBs to verify quality.

Custom Packaging and Shipping

We package and ship your finished boards using ESD-safe materials tailored to your specific needs. From foam inserts and anti-static bags to custom boxes and labels, we take care with packaging to ensure your boards arrive safely at their destination. We can also arrange shipping via your carrier of choice.
